Meaning of Life In view of Islam

Meaning of Life In view of Islam - Life is a mystery and secrecy! Humans have limitations in understanding the meaning of life. In general, people do not know a lot about something that they know is a reality that seems just (Qur'an 30: 6-7). No one knows how long he will live, where he will die, (Surah 31: 34) in what circumstances he will die, and in what way he will die, some people think that life is only one time and after it's dead face of the earth. They doubt and do not believe that they will be resurrected after death (Surah An-Naml: 67). As for the belief in life after death his views vary significantly depending on the religion and beliefs embraced and believed.

Islam explains the essential meaning of life through the comparison of two very contrasting verse, as exemplified in the Qur'an. A person who has died under the eyes of birth, and even have been buried for thousands of years, her body had been eaten worms and grubs and then return to the earth, his name is almost forgotten. But surprisingly, he loved looking at her still alive and got luck on his side as well as prohibiting the death we refer to the person. This can be seen in (Q.S 3: 169). "Do you think the people who are slain in Allah's way as dead, Nay, they live, and got a provision in the sight of Allah." Instead there are people who still live under the eyes of birth, still fresh-fit, still breathing, his heart still beating, the blood is still flowing, his eyes still blinking, but it is thought there was no God and died, as mentioned in his words "Not the same person living with the dead. Verily Allah heard those who desired him, while you can not make the people in the tomb could hear, "(Surat al-Fathir 22). The purpose of this paragraph describes the Prophet Muhammad can not give instructions to the idolaters of the dead heart.

Two of the text gives the comparison is reversed, on the one hand of the dead is considered still alive, and on the other side of the living be dead. Then what is the essence of the meaning of life according to Islam?

A Greek filusuf Descartes once defined, human and otherwise live there in the world if he thought activity. Then Karl Marx stated, human and otherwise live there if humans are able to attempt to control nature in order to survive. While Islam explains the man there and be alive if he had been conducting activities "jihad" as described by Allah in the Qur'an Ali Imron: 169 above. Certainly jihad in a very broad sense. Jihad in the sense of not just limited to taking up arms in the war, but jihad in the context of trying to fill life with work and real work. Jihad in the sense of trying to maximize the potential that life is meaningful and beneficial to themselves, their families, communities, and nations. For example, someone trying to search for and find alternative energy fuel when people are struggling also been considered jihad because he has been able to provide benefits to others. Someone who is out of the lazy nature, then work to fight poverty, ignorance, it also includes a jihad because he has been able to beat their own lusts, and is not this the greatest jihad because the Prophet himself stated that the grand jihad is against their own lusts.

Life in Islam is the significance in view of a sustainable quality of life of the world to the afterlife, a life full of meaning and benefits to the environment. Islamic life is measured by how much he perform the duties of human life has been governed by Islamic Dienull. Ada and mixed in the absence of a person in Islam to how big the benefit is felt by the people with his presence. For the Apostle once said "At best man among you is the most beneficial to others. (Alhadis). Therefore not considered meaningful (seen live) when someone forgets and leaves the obligations that have been set up Islam.

Thus, a Muslim is required to continuously improve the quality of life so meaningful and rewarding existence before God Almighty, which ultimately reached the degree of Al-hayat Al-TAYYEBAH (life filled with goodness). To achieve such degree that all Muslims are required to worship, work, work to innovate in other words, good works. Because the essence of life itself is moving (Al-Hayat) desire to create (Al-Khoolik), the urge to give the best (Al-Wahhaab) and spirit to meet the challenges of the age (Al-Waajid).

Islam described the meaning of life is much broader and deeper understanding of the life that unfolded Descartes and Marx. The meaning of life in Islam is not just thinking about reality, not just a fight for survival, but more than it delivers enlightenment and conviction that. Life is not all, but sustainable living, living beyond the age of man on Earth, life must be accounted for before the Kholik. Every believer must believe that after living in this world there is another life better, and more beautiful is eternal afterlife (QS-Adl dluha: 4).

Every Muslim who actively doing real work (good deeds), Allah promises a better quality of life as in his words "He who does good deeds whether male or female in a state he had faith, then surely it will be our turn to al-hayat al-thoyibah (quality of life). " (Q.S. 16: 97). The verse plainly states pious relationship with quality of life.
